וְעַתָּה שָׂא־נָא כֵלֶיךָ תֶּלְיְךָ וְקַשְׁתֶּךָ וְצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה וְצוּדָה לִּי [כ= צֵידָה] [ק= צָיִד]׃

3684. 'And that Jacob had listened to his father and to his mother' [means obedience and affection]. This is clear from the meaning of 'listening to someone' or hearkening as obeying, dealt with in 2542. Doing so 'to father and mother' means obedience due to affection.
