23 Juravit itaque rex Salomon per Dominum, dicens : Hæc faciat mihi Deus, et hæc addat, quia contra animam suam locutus est Adonias verbum hoc.

Verse 23. Wherefore confirmation is given by Divine Good and Divine Truth that, in this case, the celestial church would be destroyed, and therefore that self-love must be entirely put away.
