^{9 10} Who is wise, and shall understand these things? Who understands, and shall know them? For the ways of Jehovah are upright, and the just shall walk^◦ in them; but the transgressors shall stumble in them.

¹⁷ And David said unto^▵ Jehovah, when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Behold, I^▵ have sinned, and I^▵ have committed·​·iniquity; but these, the flock, what have they done? Let Thy hand, I pray^◦, be against me and against my father’s house.
