Ézéchiel第37章

1 La main de l'Eternel fut sur moi, et l'Eternel me fit sortir en esprit, et me posa au milieu d'une campagne qui était pleine d'os.

2 Et il me fit passer auprès d'eux tout à l'environ, et voici, ils étaient en fort grand nombre sur le dessus de cette campagne, et étaient fort secs.

3 Puis il me dit : fils d'homme, ces os pourraient-ils bien revivre? Et je répondis : Seigneur Eternel, tu le sais.

4 Alors il me dit : prophétise sur ces os, et leur dis : os secs, écoutez la parole de l'Eternel.

5 Ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel à ces os : voici, je m'en vais faire entrer l'esprit en vous, et vous revivrez.

6 Et je mettrai des nerfs sur vous, et je ferai croître de la chair sur vous, et j'étendrai la peau sur vous; puis je remettrai l'esprit en vous, et vous revivrez; et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel.

7 Alors je prophétisai selon qu'il m'avait été commandé, et sitôt que j'eus prophétisé il se fit un son, et voici, il se fit un mouvement, et ces os s'approchèrent l'un de l'autre.

8 Puis je regardai, et voici, il vint des nerfs sur eux, et il y crût de la chair, et la peau y fut étendue par dessus; mais l'esprit n'y était point.

9 Alors il me dit : prophétise à l'esprit, prophétise, fils d'homme, et dis à l'esprit : ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel : esprit, viens des quatre vents, et souffle sur ces morts, et qu'ils revivent.

10 Je prophétisai donc comme il m'avait commandé, et l'esprit entra en eux, et ils revécurent, et se tinrent sur leurs pieds; et ce fut une armée extrêmement grande.

11 Alors il me dit : fils d'homme, ces os sont toute la maison d'Israël; voici, ils disent : nos os sont devenus secs, et notre attente est perdue, c'en est fait de nous.

12 C'est pourquoi prophétise, et leur dis : ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel : mon peuple, voici, je m'en vais ouvrir vos sépulcres, et je vous tirerai hors de vos sépulcres, et vous ferai rentrer en la terre d'Israël.

13 Et vous, mon peuple, vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel quand j'aurai ouvert vos sépulcres, et que je vous aurai tirés hors de vos sépulcres.

14 Et je mettrai mon esprit en vous, et vous revivrez, et je vous placerai sur votre terre; et vous saurez que moi l'Eternel j'aurai parlé, et que je l'aurai fait, dit l'Eternel.

15 Puis la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant :

16 Et toi, fils d'homme, prends un bois, et écris dessus : pour Juda, et pour les enfants d'Israël ses compagnons; prends encore un autre bois, et écris dessus : le bois d'Ephraïm et de toute la maison d'Israël ses compagnons, pour Joseph.

17 Puis tu les joindras l'un à l'autre pour ne former qu'un même bois, et ils seront unis dans ta main.

18 Et quand les enfants de ton peuple demanderont, en disant : ne nous déclareras-tu pas ce que tu veux dire par ces choses?

19 Dis-leur : ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel : voici, je m'en vais prendre le bois de Joseph qui est en la main d'Ephraïm, et des Tribus d'Israël ses compagnons, et je les mettrai sur celui-ci, savoir sur le bois de Juda; et je les ferai être un seul bois; et ils ne seront qu'un seul bois en ma main.

20 Ainsi les bois sur lesquels tu auras écrit seront en ta main, eux le voyant.

21 Et dis-leur : ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel : voici, je m'en vais prendre les enfants d'Israël d'entre les nations parmi lesquelles ils sont allés, je les rassemblerai de toutes parts, et je les ferai rentrer en leur terre.

22 Et je ferai qu'ils seront une seule nation dans le pays, sur les montagnes d'Israël; ils n'auront tous qu'un Roi pour leur Roi, ils ne seront plus deux nations, et ils ne seront plus divisés en deux Royaumes.

23 Et ils ne se souilleront plus par leurs idoles, ni par leurs infamies, ni par tous leurs crimes, et je les retirerai de toutes leurs demeures dans lesquelles ils ont péché, et je les purifierai; et ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu.

24 Et David mon serviteur sera leur Roi, et ils auront tous un seul Pasteur; et ils marcheront dans mes ordonnances, ils garderont mes statuts, et les feront.

25 Et ils habiteront au pays que j'ai donné à Jacob mon serviteur, dans lequel vos pères ont habité; ils y habiteront, dis-je, eux, et leurs enfants, et les enfants de leurs enfants, à toujours; et David mon serviteur sera leur Prince à toujours.

26 Et je traiterai avec eux une alliance de paix, et il y aura une alliance éternelle avec eux, et je les établirai, et les multiplierai, je mettrai mon Sanctuaire au milieu d'eux à toujours.

27 Et mon pavillon sera parmi eux; et je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple.

28 Et les nations sauront que je suis l'Eternel qui sanctifie Israël, quand mon Sanctuaire sera au milieu d'eux à toujours.

14. 12. The Word was with God, and God was the Word; and all things were made by Him. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men; He was the true Light which lighteth every man: and the Word became flesh (John 1:1-14).

Not that any one has seen the Father, save He who is with the Father, He hath seen the Father (John 6:46).

Jesus said I am the light of the world; he that followeth Me shall have the light of life (John 8:12; 9:5, 39; 12:35-36, 46).

Jesus said, Before Abraham was, I am (John 8:56, 58). He came into the world that the blind might see, and that they which see might become blind (John 9:39).

Jesus said, I and the Father are one (John 10:30).

The Father and He are one (John 10:30).

He that hateth Me hateth My Father (John 15:23-24). All things that the Father hath are Mine (John 16:15). Jesus goes away to the Father (John 16:5-7, 16-17, 29), which is to be united to Him.

They should pray in His name, I say not that I will pray the Father for you; the Father Himself loveth you because ye have loved Me (John 16:26-28). He often says, In His name.

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world; again I leave the world and go to the Father (John 16:28-31). Jesus said, the Father had given Him power over all flesh (John 17:2).

Jesus will give to them eternal life (John 17:2) also, the Son from the Father.

God and Jesus Christ [mentioned] together, namely that they both know each other (John 17:3).

Father glorify Thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify Thee. Now therefore do Thou, O Father, glorify Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was (John 17:1, 5).

N. B. Arcanum. By "to glorify" is meant to unite the Divine Truth with the Divine Good in the Human. The Lord in the Father from eternity was the Divine Good and thence the Divine Truth, wherefore when He descended He was the Divine Truth from the Divine Good; a reciprocal union, or that of the Divine Truth with the Divine Good, was effected by the Lord in the Human while He was in the world: and it was accomplished successively, especially by redemption and by the fact that He did the will of the Father, and then fully by the last temptation, which was that of the cross, for temptation unites. Then was accomplished the reciprocal union of the Divine Truth with the Divine Good, thus the Father and Son are one, thus one Person like soul and body. All Mine are Thine and Thine are Mine, but I am glorified in them (John 17:10).

I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in the truth (John 17:19).

That they may be one in Jesus as the Father is in Him (John 17:21-23).

Thomas said, my Lord and my God (John 20:28).
