καὶ εἶπεν βαλακ πρὸς βαλααμ οὐχὶ ἀπέστειλα πρὸς σὲ καλέσαι σε διὰ τί οὐκ ἤρχου πρός με ὄντως οὐ δυνήσομαι τιμῆσαί σε

Verse 37. And the corrupted understanding perceives from the impulses of the depraved will that it desires to confirm its state by falsities. Why then has there been hesitation? And is not selfish love able to promote and exalt its votaries?
