3 The Lord thy God then will pass over before thee: he will destroy all these nations in thy sight, and thou shalt possess them: and this Josue shall go over before thee, as The Lord hath spoken.

Verse 3. The Divine Love and Wisdom themselves lead the mind, and will destroy the evils which oppose regeneration in the internal mind, and goods shall take their place: and Truth combating against the evil and the false is the new principle which shall guide the soul as appointed by the Lord.
