Deuteronomy 24:2

Verse 2. And when they are separated from the interior mind, which is under the government of the perception of good, or interior understanding of truth, they can become conjoined to other principles in the soul which will operate with them—that is to say, the uses performed by the will are done from other motives than because they accord with the highest perceptions of right.
