22 And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said to him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

Verse 22. But it is the dictate of Divine Truth nevertheless to him, that he must continue his opposition to the natural man, and be watchful, and discerning, since states of evil thence return in new forms, and aspire to dominion.
