Things can get pretty bad for us here in the physical world. When the Lord leaves people in freedom, it necessarily means that they can mess up other people's lives. But, whatever evil happens, the Lord is always trying to bend it back towards some good. In the long run, if we stay the course, and keep loving the Lord and our neighbors, He will save us, and we will be happy to eternity in heaven.
