5227. 'And the chief of the cupbearers spoke to Pharaoh' means thought formed by the sensory power subject to the understanding part of the mind. This is clear from the meaning of 'speaking' as thinking, dealt with in 2271, 2287, 2619; and from the representation of 'the chief of the cupbearers' as the sensory power subject to the understanding part, dealt with in 5077, 5082.
