Leaven

Leaven' signifies evil and falsity, which should not be mixed with good and true things. In Leviticus 2:11, it says, 'no meat offering which ye shall bring to Jehovah shall be made leavened.' They were also forbidden to eat any other bread during the seven days of the Passover than bread without yeast, that is, 'unleavened,' as in Exodus 12:15, 18-20.
