Turn

Swedenborg says that the Lord is the sun of heaven, and like the natural sun of our world shines on everyone, good or evil. What matters, then, is our state: If we turn ourselves toward the Lord, we can get the full dose of His light (wisdom) and warmth (love); if we turn away from Him we cast ourselves into cold and shadow - we turn ourselves toward hell.

In the Bible, thern, “turning” generally refers to a change in spiritual state, as people turn themselves toward the Lord or away from the Lord.
