1. INCWADI KAGENESIS

Ngokuba engqondweni yemvelo noma yamabala yalengxenye yeZwi, umuntu angabona kuphela—kabanzi—ukuthi zonke izinto kuyo ziphathelene namasiko nemithetho eSonto lamaJuda. 1659. INGQONDO ENGAPHAKATHI. Imininingwane equkethwe kulesiSahluko ibonakala sengathi kayifanekisi lutho, ngokuba isihloko sikhuluma ngezimpi ezaziphakathi kwamakhosi athile njekuphela, nangokubuyiswa kukaLothi ngU-Abrama, nasekugcineni sikhulume ngoMelkhizedeki; okuyizinto ezenza kube sengathi imininingwane yaso kayimumethe ngisho neyodwa imfihlakalo yasezulwini. Nokho njengayoyonke imininingwane efana nale, lemininingwane ifihle izimfihlakalo ezijule kakhulu engqondweni engaphakathi, okuyizimfihlakalo ezibekwe ngokulandelana nalezo ezandulelayo, futhi ezilandelwa ngezinye ezixhumene nazo kulolohhume lwezimfihlakalo ezilandelanayo.

[2] Emininingwaneni eyandulelayo bekukhulunywa ngeNkosi nangokufundiswa kwayo; bekukhulunywa futhi nangoMuntu waYo ongaphandle okwakumele ahlanganiswe noMuntu waYo ongaphakathi ngesu lolwazi neziminya. Kepha ngesizathu sokuthi uMuntu waYo ongaphandle, njengoba sekuphawuliwe, wayenofuzo ayeluthathe kunina olwalugodle izinto ezazivimbela ukuhlanganiswa koMuntu ongaphandle kuMuntu ongaphakathi, okwakuyizinto okwakumele zikhishwe noma zilahlwe ngesu lokulwa nazo nangokulingwa ngaphambi kokuba bahlangane—okungukuthi, ngaphambi kokuba iNgqikithi yeNkosi yoBuntu ihlanganiswe neNgqikithi yaYo yoBunkulunkulu—ngakhoke lesiSahluko sikhuluma ngalokhokulwa noma ngalezozimpi zokulingwa. Lokhokulwa engqondweni engaphakathi kulinganiswa futhi kufanekiswa ngezimpi njengoba zichaziwe. ESontweni kwaziwa kahle ukuthi uMelkhizedeki wayemele iNkosi, nokuthi kanjalo lapho kuphathwa uMelkhizedeki eZwini kufanekiswa iNkosi. Ngalokhu, umuntu anganquma ukuthi akuyona yodwa imininingwane emalungana noMelkhizedeki efanekisayo kodwa yonke eminye imininingwane iyafanekisa; ngokuba kwakungeke kulotshwe ngisho elincane izwi noma igama eZwini elingehliswanga livela ezulwini, kanjalo izingelosi ezingaboni kulo izinto zasezulwini.

[3] Okunye, ezinkathini zasemandulondulo ziningi izinto noma izenzeko ezazifanekiswa ngezimpi, abantu ababezibiza nge “Zimpi zikaJehova”. Lezo “Zimpi” zazingafanekisi lutho olunye ngaphandle kwezimpi nokulwa kweSonto kanye nabantu balo, okungukuthi, ukulwa nezilingo zabo—ezingelutho olunye ngaphandle kokulwa nobubi okungaphakathi kubo, kanjalo ukulwa nebandla likadeveli elivusa ububi babo lizame nokubhubisa iSonto labo. Emakhasini angaphambili, sekukhulunywe kakhulu ngokubona noma ngokuqonda okubukhali kwama-Sonto angaphambi kukaZamcolo, nangokuthi na–muhla ukubona ngqo noma ukubona okungajikeleziyo kwalawomaSonto akusaziwa nakancane ukuthi kuyini, kangangoba abanye abantu bacabanga ukuthi kuwukwam-bulelwa okunganqamukiyo, noma ukuthi kuyinto etshalwa kumuntu. Abanye bacabanga ukuthi kuyinto yomcabango njekuphela, engekho, nabanye bacabanga okwahlukile. Kepha noma bangacabangani, iqiniso elimsulwa wukuthi ukubona okungajikeleziyo kuwuqobo lobuzulu bamazulu iNkosi ebupha labo abasenkolweni ephuma othandweni, nakulolonke izulu kukhona izinhlobonhlobo ezingenasiphelo zokubona okungajikeleziyo. Ukuzeke abantu babenomqondo othile wokuthi ukubona okungajikeleziyo kuyini, ngomusa weNkosi woBunkulunkulu, emakhasini alandelayo ngizodalula izinhlobo zokubona okungajikeleziyo ezimqoka ezikhona ezulwini.
