ယေဇကျေလ 44

¹ ထိုနောက်၊ သန့်ရှင်းရာအရပ်အရှေ့သို့ မျက်နှာ ပြုသော ပြင်တံခါးသို့ ဆောင်သွား၍၊ ထိုတံခါးသည် ပိတ်လျက်ရှိ၏။

² ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ဤတံခါးကိုမဖွင့်ဘဲ ပိတ်ထားလျက်ရှိရမည်။ လူများမဝင်ရကြ။ အကြောင်းမူ ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ဝင်တော်မူသောကြောင့် ပိတ်ထားလျက်ရှိရမည်။

³ မင်းသားအဘို့ဖြစ်၏။ မင်းသားသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ စားသောက်၍ထိုတံခါးဝမှာ ထိုင်ရ လိမ့်မည် မင်းသားသည် ထိုတံခါးမုတ်ဖြင့် ထွက်ဝင် ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁴ ထိုအခါ အိမ်တော်ရှေ့၊ မြောက်တံခါးလမ်းဖြင့် ငါ့ကိုဆောင်သွား၍။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဘုန်းတော်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏အိမ်တော်ကို ဖြည့်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ငါသည် ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက်နေ၏။

⁵ ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ အချင်းလူသား၊ စေ့စေ့ ကြည့်ရှု၍ မှတ်လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်အဘို့ ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက် ပညတ်တရားရှိသမျှတို့ကို နားထောင် လော့။ အိမ်တော်ဝင်ရာတံခါးဝနှင့် သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနမှ ထွက်ရာတံခါးဝရှိသမျှတို့ကို စေ့စေ့မှတ်လော့။

⁶ ပုန်ကန်တတ်သောသူ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ အား အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို ဆင့်ဆိုရမည် မှာ၊ အိုဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊

⁷ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ဘောဇဉ်တည်းဟူသော ဆီဥနှင့် အသွေးကို ပူဇော်သောအခါ၊ ငါ့ဗိမာန်ကိုညစ်ညူးစေခြင်း ငှါ၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောစိတ်နှင့် အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံ သောကိုယ်ရှိသော တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့ကို ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်း ရာဌာနထဲသို့ သွင်း၍နေရာချသဖြင့်၊ စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာ ဘွယ်သော အမှုများကို ပြုမိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ရောင့်ရဲသော စိတ်ရှိကြလော့။ စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်သောအမှုများ အားဖြင့် ငါ့ပဋိညာဉ်ကို ဖျက်ကြပြီ။

⁸ ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနကို မစောင့်။ ထိုဌာန၌ စောင့်သောသူတို့ကို ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်ခန့်ထားကြပြီ။

⁹ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့တွင်နေ၍၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောစိတ်နှင့် အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကိုမခံသော ကိုယ်ရှိ သောတပါးအမျိုးသားသည် ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနထဲသို့ မဝင်ရ။

¹⁰ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ငါ့ထံမှထွက်၍ လမ်းလွှဲပြီးလျှင်၊ မိမိတို့ရုပ်တုများနောက်သို့ လိုက်သွား သောအခါ၊ ငါ့ထံမှထွက်၍လမ်းလွှဲသော လေဝိသားတို့ သည်လည်း ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို ခံရကြမည်။

¹¹ သို့ရာတွင်၊ ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနနှင့်ဆိုင်သော အမှုစောင့်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌တံခါးတို့ကို စောင့်လျက်၊ အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်နေရကြမည်။ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ် နှင့် လူများပူဇော်သော ယဇ်ကောင်တို့ကို သတ်၍၊ လူများ ကိုယ်စား အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ရကြမည်။

¹² သူတို့သည် ရုပ်တုတို့ရှေ့မှာ လူများအမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်သဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးထိမိ၍ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ထဲသို့ လဲစရာအကြောင်းဖြစ်ဘူးသောကြောင့်၊ သူတို့ တဘက်၌ငါကျိန်ဆို၍၊ သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို ခံရ ကြမည်။

¹³ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်လုပ်၍ ငါ့ထံသို့မချဉ်းကပ်ရကြ။ အလွန်သန့်ရှင်းသော ငါ့ဌာန၌ သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာတို့ကို မချဉ်းကပ်ရကြ။ ကိုယ်အရှက်ကွဲခြင်း၊ ကိုယ်ပြုမိသော စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်အမှုတို့ကို ခံရကြမည်။

¹⁴ အိမ်တော်ကိုစောင့်၍၊ အိမ်တော်၌ ခပ်သိမ်း သောအမှုတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်စေခြင်းငှါ ငါခန့်ထားမည်။

¹⁵ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ငါ့ထံမှထွက်၍ လမ်းလွဲသောအခါ၊ ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနကို စောင့်နေ သော လေဝိအမျိုးဖြစ်သော ဇာဒုတ်သား၊ ယဇ်ပုရော ဟိတ်တို့သည် ငါ့အမှုကိုဆောင်ခြင်းငှါ ငါ့ထံသို့ ချဉ်းကပ် ကြ၏။ ငါ့အားဆီဥနှင့်အသွေးကို ပူဇော်ခြင်းငှါ အရှေ့မှာ ရပ်ရကြမည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁶ ထိုသူတို့သည် ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနထဲသို့ဝင်၍ ငါ့အမှုကိုဆောင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့စားပွဲအနားသို့ ချဉ်းကပ်၍ ငါ့အမှုစောင့်ဖြစ်ရကြမည်။

¹⁷ သူတို့သည် အတွင်းတန်တိုင်းတံခါး အတွင်းသို့ ဝင်သောအခါ၊ ပိတ်အဝတ်ကိုသာ ဝတ်ရကြမည်။ အတွင်း တန်တိုင်းတံခါးအတွင်း၌ အမှုတော်ကိုဆောင်ရွက်စဉ်၊ သိုးမွေးအဝတ်ကို မဝတ်ရကြ။

¹⁸ ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ပိတ်ဦးထုပ်ကို ဆောင်း၍၊ ခါး၌ ပိတ်ပေါင်းဘီကိုဝတ်ရကြမည်။ ချွေးထွက်စေသော အဝတ်ကို မဝတ်ရကြ။

¹⁹ လူများရှိရာ ပြင်တန်တိုင်းသို့ ထွက်သွားသော အခါ၊ အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်စဉ်တွင် ဝတ်သောအဝတ်ကို ချွတ်၍၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောအခန်းတို့၌ ထားပြီးလျှင်၊ အခြား သောအဝတ်ကိုဝတ်ရကြမည်။ အရင်အဝတ်ကိုဝတ်လျက် လူများတို့ကို မသန့်ရှင်းစေရကြ။

²⁰ မိမိတို့ဆံပင်ကိုလည်း မရိတ်ရ၊ မရှည်စေခြင်းငှါ ဖြတ်ရမည်။

²¹ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် အတွင်းတန်တိုင်းထဲသို့ ဝင်သောအခါ စပျစ်ရည်ကိုမသောက်ရ။

²² မုတ်ဆိုးမနှင့် မစုံဘက်ရ။ လင်ကွာသောမိန်းမ နှင့် မစုံဘက်ရ။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး အပျိုကညာနှင့် သော်၎င်း၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၏မယားဖြစ်ဘူးသော မုတ်ဆိုးမ နှင့်သော်၎င်း စုံဘက်ရမည်။

²³ ငါ၏လူတို့သည် သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာ၊ မသန့်ရှင်း သောအရာတို့ကို၎င်း၊ စင်ကြယ်သောအရာ၊ မစင်ကြယ် သောအရာတို့ကို၎င်း ပိုင်းခြား၍သိစေခြင်းငှါ သွန်သင် ရကြမည်။

²⁴ တရားတွေ့မှုကိုစီရင်လျှင်၊ ငါ၏ဓမ္မသတ် အတိုင်း စီရင်ရကြမည်။ ငါ၏ဓမ္မပွဲတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်လျှင်၊ ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ငါ၏ဥပုသ်နေ့တို့ကို၎င်း စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။

²⁵ အသေကောင်ကိုချဉ်း၍ ကိုယ်ကို မညစ်ညူး စေရ။ သို့ရာတွင်၊ ကိုယ်မိဘ၊ သား သမီး၊ ညီအစ်ကို၊ လင်မနေသောနှမအတွက် ကိုယ်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေရသော အခွင့်ရှိ၏။

²⁶ သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းကိုပြုပြီးမှ ခုနစ်ရက်နေရမည်။

²⁷ သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာန၌ အမှုတော်ကိုဆောင်ခြင်းငှါ အတွင်းတန်တိုင်း သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနထဲသို့ ဝင်သောနေ့တွင်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်ကို ပူဇော်ရမည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁸ ထိုအရာသည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့၏ အမွေဥစ္စာ ဖြစ်ရမည်။ ငါသည်သူတို့အမွေဥစ္စာဖြစ်၏။ ဣသရေလ ပြည်၌ သူတို့အားအမွေမြေကို မပေးရ။ ငါသည်သူတို့၏ အမွေမြေဖြစ်၏။

²⁹ ပူဇော်သောမုန့်ညက်နှင့်အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်၊ ဒုစရိုက်ဖြေရာယဇ်ကို စားရကြမည်။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး သား ကျိန်ဆို၍ ပူဇော်သမျှတို့ကိုလည်း သိမ်းယူရကြမည်။

³⁰ အဦးသီးသောအသီးအမျိုးမျိုးနှင့်၊ ချီးမြှောက်ရာ ပူဇော်သက္ကာအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် သိမ်းယူ ရမည်။ သူသည်သင့်အိမ်၌ ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာကို သက် ရောက်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ အဦးနယ်သော မုန့်စိမ်းကို သူ၌ လှူရမည်။

³¹ ငှက်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သားဖြစ်စေ၊ အလိုလိုသေသော အကောင်၊ သားရဲကိုက်၍ သေသောအကောင်ကို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မစားရ။

Altar

The first altar mentioned in the Word was the one built by Noah after he came out of the ark, after being saved from the great flood. On that altar, he sacrificed clean animals to the Lord.

Mountains represent the Lord because of their height; we need to raise our thoughts above worldly things when "talking" with the Lord. An altar is a small artificial mountain. When it's used in worship, it can call to mind this raising of thought. The fire and smoke that rise from an altar are symbolically being sent to the Lord.

Most altars were made from unhewn stones. Stones represent truths. Unhewn stones - ones that have not been shaped by men - represent truths from the Word, truths that have not been adulterated.

The clean beasts to be sacrificed represent good things, charitable acts done because they are right. The clean birds represent thoughts about doctrine and actions, and about what is right. Presenting these things is an acknowledgment that we have them from the Lord, and a giving thanks to Him for them.

In the Israelitish Tabernacle, the altar of burnt offering represented the acknowledgment of good and the altar of incense that of truth. For this reason this larger altar, which was outside by the door, was made of brass which signifies natural good, while the altar of incense was made of gold, which signifies love to the Lord from whom comes truth.

¹ How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

² My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

³ Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

⁴ Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

⁵ Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

⁶ Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

⁷ They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

⁸ O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

⁹ Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

¹⁰ For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

¹¹ For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹² O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
