3:19 For, behold, the day comes that shall burn as an oven, and all the presumptuous, and all who do wickedness, shall be stubble; and the day that comes shall set··flame··to◦ them, says Jehovah of Armies, who shall not leave◦ to them◦ root nor◦ bough.

3:20 But to you who fear My name the Sun of justice shall rise◦ with healing in His wings; and you shall go··out, and spread··out as calves of the stall.

3:21 And you shall tread··upon◦ the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I◦ shall do this, says Jehovah of Armies.

3:22 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb* upon all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

3:23 Behold, I▵ will send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and the fearsome day of Jehovah.

3:24 And He shall return the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with doom.
