Numbers 10

Studie

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Make for thee two trumpets, of solid silver shalt thou make them; and they shall be for thee for the calling··together of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps.

And they shall sound with them, and all the congregation shall congregate to thee to the entrance of the Tabernacle of the congregation.

And if they sound with one, then the chiefs, who are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall congregate to thee.

And you shall sound a blast, and the camps encamped toward the east shall journey forth.

And you shall sound a blast the second time, and the camps that encamp toward the south shall journey forth; they shall sound a blast for their journeys.

And when the assembly assembles, you shall sound, but you shall not blast.

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall sound with the trumpets; and they shall be for you for an eternal statute for your generations.

And if you come··into war in your land against the adversary that is··an··adversary against you, then you shall blast with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

And in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn··occasions, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall sound with the trumpets over your burnt··offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace··offerings; and they shall be for you for a memorial before your God; I am Jehovah your God.

And it was, on the twentieth day in the month, in the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was made· to go··up from upon the Habitation of the testimony.

And the sons of Israel journeyed on their journeys out··of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.

And they journeyed at first by the mouth of Jehovah by the hand of Moses.

And the banner of the camp of the sons of Judah journeyed in the first place according··to their armies; and over his army was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

And the Habitation was brought··down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari journeyed forth, bearing the Habitation.

And the banner of the camp of Reuben journeyed according··to their armies; and over his army was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

And the Kohathites journeyed, bearing the sanctuary; and they raised··up the Habitation until their coming.

And the banner of the camp of the sons of Ephraim journeyed according··to their armies; and over his army was Elishama the son of Ammihud.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

And the banner of the camp of the sons of Dan journeyed, a gathering for all the camps for their armies; and over his army was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

These were the journeyings of the sons of Israel according··to their armies, when they journeyed.

And Moses said to Chobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are journeying to the place of which Jehovah said, I will give it to you; go with us, and we will do· thee ·good, for Jehovah has spoken good concerning Israel.

And he said to him, I will not go; but to my land and to my birth place I will go.

And he said, Forsake us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest our encamping in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us for eyes.

And it shall be, when thou goest with us, and it shall be, that good that Jehovah shall do··good with us, we will also do··good to thee.

And they journeyed from the mountain of Jehovah the way of three days; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah journeyed before them the way of three days, to explore for them a place of rest.

And the cloud of Jehovah was over them by··day, when they journeyed from the camp.

And it was, when the ark journeyed, that Moses said, Rise··up, Jehovah, and let Thine enemies be scattered; and let those who hate Thee flee from before Thee.

And when it rested, he said, Return, O Jehovah, to the myriads of thousands of Israel.

Simeon

In Revelation 7, 'Simeon', in the highest sense, signifies providence, in a spiritual sense, love towards our neighbor, or charity, and in a natural sense, obedience and hearing.

In Judges 1:1-4, 'Simeon' signifies the Lord regarding the spiritual degree derived from the celestial.
