¹ And these are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel smote, and possessed their land across the Jordan from the rising^◦ of the sun from the brook Arnon even·​·to Mount Hermon, and all the desert toward the sunrise:

² Siḥon, king of the Amorite, who dwelt in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which is on the lip of the brook Arnon, and from the midst of the brook, and half Gilead, even·​·to the brook Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon;

³ and the desert even·​·to the sea of Chinnereth, toward the sunrise, and even·​·to the sea of the desert, the Salt sea, toward the sunrise, the way of Beth-jeshimoth; and from the south^◦ under the watercourses of Pisgah;

⁴ and the border of Og king of Bashan, from the remnant of the Rephaim, who dwelt in Ashtaroth and in Edrei,

⁵ ruling in Mount Hermon and in Salchah, and in all Bashan, to^◦ the border of the Geshurite, and the Maachathite, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon;

⁶ Moses the servant of Jehovah and the sons of Israel smote them; and Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half tribe^◦ of Manasseh.

⁷ And these are the kings of the land, whom Joshua and the sons of Israel smote across the Jordan toward the sea, from Baal-gad in the vale of Lebanon, and to^◦ Mount Halak that goes·​·up to Seir; and Joshua gave it to the tribes^◦ of Israel for a possession, according to their partitions;

⁸ in the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the desert, and in the watercourses, and in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittite, the Amorite and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

¹⁶ the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;

¹⁷ the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;

¹⁸ the king of Aphek, one; the king of^◦ Sharon, one;

¹⁹ the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;

²⁰ the king of Shimron-meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

²¹ the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;

²² the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam on Carmel, one;

²³ the king of Dor on Naphath Dor, one; the king of the nations at Gilgal, one;

²⁴ the king of Tirzah, one; all the kings, thirty and one.
