Exodus 35

Studie

And Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, These are the words which Jehovah has commanded, to do them.

Six days shall work* be done, but on the seventh day it shall be for you holiness, a Sabbath of a Sabbath to Jehovah; everyone doing work in it shall die.

You shall not burn a fire in all your dwellings on the day of the Sabbath.

And Moses said to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, This is the word which Jehovah commanded, saying,

Take ye from among you an uplifting to Jehovah; everyone that is freely··willing in his heart shall bring it, an uplifting of Jehovah; gold, and silver, and bronze;

and blue, and crimson, and scarlet twice-dyed, and fine··linen, and goatswool;

and skins of red rams, and skins of badgers, and shittim* wood;

and oil for the light, and spices for the oil of anointing, and for the fragrant incense;

and onyx stones, and stones for filling, for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

And let everyone that is wise in heart among you come, and make all things that Jehovah has commanded;

the Habitation, its Tabernacle, and its covering, its clasps, and its planks, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;

the ark, and its poles, the place of atonement, and the veil of the sheltering;

the table, and its poles, and all its vessels; and the bread of faces;

and the lampstand of the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil of the light;

and the altar of incense, and its poles, and the oil of anointing, and the fragrant incense, and the sheltering of the entrance, for the entrance of the Habitation;

the altar of burnt··offering, and its grate of bronze, its poles, and all its vessels; the laver and its base;

the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the sheltering of the gate of the court;

the pegs of the Habitation, and the pegs of the court, and their cords;

the garments of ministry, to minister in the holy place, the garments of holiness for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to be··priests;

and all the assemblage of the sons of Israel went out from before Moses.

And they came, every man whose heart carried him, and all whose spirit was··freely··willing, brought the uplifting of Jehovah, for the work* of the Tabernacle of the congregation, and for all its service, and for the garments of holiness.

And they came, the men with the women, everyone noble in heart, and brought a brooch, and an earring, and a ring, and a band, every vessel of gold; and every man who waved a wave offering of gold to Jehovah.

And every man brought, with whom was··found blue, and crimson, and scarlet twice-dyed, and fine··linen, and wool of goats, and skins of red rams, and the skins of badgers.

Everyone lifting··up an uplifting of silver and of bronze brought the uplifting of Jehovah; and everyone with whom was found shittim wood for all the work of the service, brought it.

And every woman wise in heart did spin with her hands, and they brought what··was··spun, the blue, and the crimson, the scarlet twice-dyed, and the fine··linen.

And all the women whose heart bore them in wisdom spun the goats wool.

And the chiefs brought the onyx stones, and the stones for filling, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

and the spice, and the oil for the light, and for the oil of anointing, and for the fragrant incense.

Every man and woman whose heart was··freely··willing to bring for all the work which Jehovah had commanded to do by the hand of Moses, the sons of Israel brought a freewill offering for Jehovah.

And Moses said to the sons of Israel, See ye, Jehovah has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

and He has··filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all the work;

and to think thoughts, to make in gold, and in silver, and in bronze;

and in crafting of stone for infilling, and in crafting of wood, to do in all the work from thought.

And he has put into his heart to teach, into him and into Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to do all the work of the craftsman, and of the thinker, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in crimson, in scarlet twice-dyed, and in fine··linen, and of the weaver, of those who do all the work, and of those who think thoughts.
