Thou shalt not see the ox or the sheep◦ of thy brother wandering, and hide◦ thyself from them; returning thou shalt return them to thy brother.

And if thy brother be not near to thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt gather it to thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother inquire after it, and thou shalt return it to him.

And thus◦ shalt thou do for his donkey; and thus shalt thou do for his raiment; and thus shalt thou do for every lost thing of thy brother which has been lost by him, and thou hast found; thou mayest not hide◦ them for thyself.
4
Thou shalt not see the donkey of thy brother or his ox fall on◦ the way, and hide◦ thyself from them; raising··up with him thou shalt raise· them ·up.

The garment* of a man▫ shall not be on a woman, neither shall a man▫ be··clothed with the raiment of a woman; for all who do these things are an abomination to Jehovah thy God.

If a nest of a bird happen to be before thee in the way, in any tree, or on the earth, whether they be hatchlings or eggs, and the mother is brooding◦ on the hatchlings, or on the eggs, thou shalt not take the mother on the young◦;
7
But Sending thou shalt send away the mother bird, and take the young◦ to thee; that it may be··well for thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
8
When◦ thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a railing for thy roof, that thou set not bloods* on◦ thy house, for falling someone might fall from it.
9
Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with two··types of seeds; lest the fullness of the seed which thou hast sown, and the increase of the vineyard, be made··holy*.
10
Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an donkey together.
11
Thou shalt not be··clothed with mixed··cloth, as wool and linen◦ together.
12
Thou shalt make for thee tassels on the four wings of thy covering, with which thou coverest thyself.
13
If any man◦ take a wife, and go··in to her, and hate her,
14
and set abuses against her with words, and bring··forth upon her an evil name, and say, I took this woman, and I came··near to her, and I found not virginity with her;
15
then the father of the damsel, and her mother, shall take and bring··out the raiment of the virginity of the damsel to the elders of the city at the gate;
16
and the father of the damsel shall say to▵ the elders, I gave my daughter to this man◦ for a wife, and he hates her;
17
and, behold, he has set abuses with words against her, saying, I found not thy daughter with virginity; and these are of the virginity of my daughter. And they shall spread the raiment before the elders of the city.
18
And the elders of that◦ city shall take the man◦ and chastise him;
19
and they shall fine him a hundred of silver, and give it to the father of the damsel, for he has brought··out an evil name upon a virgin of Israel; and she shall be for him for a wife; he is· not ·able to send· her ·out all his days.
20
But if this thing be true, and the raiment of virginity be· not ·found for the damsel;
21
then they shall bring··out the damsel to the entrance of the house of her father, and the men◦ of her city shall stone◦ her with stones and she shall die; for she has done folly in Israel, to commit··harlotry in the house of her father: and thou shalt sweep··away the evil from among thee.
22
If▫ a man◦ be··found lying with a woman married to a husband, then even the two of them shall die, the man◦ that lay with the woman, and the woman; and shalt thou sweep··away the evil from Israel.
23
If a damsel who is a virgin be betrothed to a man◦, and a man◦ find her in the city, and lie with her,
24
then you shall bring· the two of them ·out to the gate of that◦ city, and you shall stone◦ them with stones and they shall die: the damsel, on account of the word she cried not in the city; and the man◦, on account of the word that he has afflicted the wife of his companion; and thou shalt sweep··away the evil from among you.
25
But if a man◦ find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man◦ hold· her ·firmly, and lie with her; then the man◦ alone who lay with her shall die:
26
but to the damsel thou shalt not do a thing; there is for the damsel no sin worthy of death; for as◦ a man◦ rises··up against his companion, and murders his soul, even so in this matter;
27
for he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.
28
If a man◦ find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and catch··hold of her, and lie with her, and they be··found;
29
then the man◦ who lay with her shall give to the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he has afflicted her, he may not send· her ·out all his days.
30
23:1 A man◦ shall not take the wife of his father; and shall not uncover the wing of the garment of his father.
