The firstThe first monthmonth, the firstthe first day ofday of the monthmonth, thou shalt set up the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony,
And shalt putput the arkark in it, and shalt let down the veil before it:
And thou shalt bringbring in the tabletable, and set upon it the things that are commanded according to the rite. The candlestickcandlestick shall stand with its lampslamps,
And the altaraltar of goldgold whereon the incenseincense is burnt, beforebefore the arkark of the testimony. Thou shalt putput the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle,
And beforebefore it the altaraltar of holocaust:
The laver between the altaraltar and the tabernacletabernacle, and thou shalt fill it with waterwater.
And thou shalt encompass the courtcourt with hangings, and the entry thereof.
And thou shalt take the oiloil of unction and anointanoint the tabernacle with its vesselsvessels, that they may be sanctifiedsanctified:
The altaraltar of holocaust and all its vesselsvessels:
The laver with its foot: thou shalt consecrate all with the oil of unction, that they may be most holy.
And thou shalt bring AaronAaron and his sons to the doordoor of the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony, and having washedwashed them with waterwater,
Thou shalt put onput on them the holyholy vestments, that they may minister to me, and that the unction of them may prosper to an everlasting priesthood.
And MosesMoses did all that the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded.
So in the firstthe first monthmonth of the second year, the firstthe first day of the monthmonth, the tabernacle was set up.
And MosesMoses reared it up, and placed the boardsboards and the sockets and the barsbars, and set up the pillarspillars,
And spread the roof over the tabernacletabernacle, putting over it a cover, as the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded.
And he putput the testimony in the arkark, thrusting bars underneath, and the oracle above.
And when he had brought the arkark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it to fulfil the commandmentcommandment of the Lordthe Lord.
And he set the tabletable in the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony at the northnorth sideside without the veil,
Setting there in orderorder the loaves of proposition, as the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
He set the candlestickcandlestick also in the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony over against the tabletable on the southsouth sideside,
Placing the lampslamps in orderorder, according to the precept of the Lordthe Lord.
He set also the altaraltar of goldgold under the roof of the testimony over against the veil,
And burnt upon it the incenseincense of spices, as the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he putput also the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony,
And the altaraltar of holocaust of the entry of the testimony, offeringoffering the holocaust, and the sacrifices upon it, as the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded.
And he set the laver between the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony and the altaraltar, filling it with waterwater.
And MosesMoses and AaronAaron, and his sons washedwashed their handshands and feetfeet,
When they went into the tabernacletabernacle of the covenant, and went to the altaraltar, as the Lordthe Lord had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
He set up also the courtcourt round aboutround about the tabernacle and the altaraltar, drawing the hanging in the entry thereof. After all things were perfected,
The cloudcloud coveredcovered the tabernacletabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lordthe Lord filledfilled it.
Neither could MosesMoses go into the tabernacletabernacle of the covenant, the cloudcloud covering all things and the majesty of the Lordthe Lord shining, for the cloudcloud had covered all.
If at any time the cloudcloud removedremoved from the tabernacle, the childrenchildren of IsraelIsrael went forward by their troops:
If it hung over, they remained in the same place.
For the cloudcloud of the Lordthe Lord hung over the tabernacle by day, and a firefire by nightnight, in the sightsight of all the children of IsraelIsrael throughout all their mansions.
