40 And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, [for] the house of Jehovah;

Verse 40. So that the love of knowledge in the natural mind is instrumental in providing receptacles of interior truth, and receptacles of exterior good and truth for man's purification, in order that the work of regeneration, and-thus the formation of human character by the Lord may be completed.
