1 Yoo! Isuke igolide yaba mncumevu; isuke ecikizekileyo, elungileyo, yaba yeyimbi; Asuke aphalazwa amatye engcwele ekujikeni kwezitrato zonke.

2 AbeZiyon abanqabileyo, abamelwe yigolide engcwengiweyo, Yoo! Babalelwa ekubeni yimiphanda yodongwe, umsebenzi wezandla zombumbi.

3 Kanti neempungutye ziyalirhola ibele, zanyise amathole azo; Ke yona intombi yabantu bakowethu isuke yaba sisijorha, njengenciniba entlango.

4 Ulwimi losebeleni lunamathela ekhuhlangubeni lakhe linxano; Abantwana bacela isonka, akukho ubaphulelayo.

5 Ababesidla ubuncwane baphanzile ezitratweni; Ababephathwa ngeengubo ezibomvu bawola amazala.

6 Bukhulile ubugwenxa bentombi yakowethu ngaphezu kwesono seSodom, Yona yabhukuqwayo ngephanyazo, kungasiwanga sandla kuyo.

7 Babeqaqambile ababalulekileyo bayo ngaphezu kwekhephu; baye bemhlophe ngaphezu kwamasi; Babeyingqombela imizimba ngaphezu kwekorale, isibili sabo besinjengesafire;

8 Imbonakalo yabo imnyama ngaphezu kocolothi; Abanakaneki ezitratweni; ulusu lwabo lutshele emathanjeni abo; lomile, lwanjengokhuni.

9 Baneyhweba ababulewe ngekrele kunababulewe yindlala, Bona baphelayo ngokubulawa kukungabikho kweziqhamo zamasimi.

10 Izandla zabafazi abanemfesane zipheke abantwanana babo, Baba kukudla kwabo ekwaphukeni kwentombi yabantu bakowethu.

11 Ubuphelelisile ubushushu bakhe uYehova, ukuphalazile ukuvutha komsindo wakhe; Wafaka umlilo eZiyon, wazitshisa iziseko zayo.

12 Bebengenakukholwa ookumkani behlabathi, nabemi bonke belimiweyo, Ukuba ubengangenayo umbandezeli notshaba emasangweni aseYerusalem.

13 Kungenxa yezono zabaprofeti bayo, nobugwenxa bababingeleli bayo, Abaphalaze igazi lamalungisa phakathi kwayo.

14 Baphamzela beziimfama ezitratweni, bedyobhekile ligazi, Bada abantu ababa nakuchukumisa nezambatho zabo.

15 Sukani, nantso inqambi! Kwatshiwo ukumenyezwa kubo. Sukani, sukani, musani ukuphatha! Bakusaba, baphamzela nalapho, kwathiwa phakathi kweentlanga, Mabangaphindi baphambukele khona.

16 Ubuso bukaYehova bubachithachithile, akasayi kubabheka; Ubuso bababingeleli ababubhekanga, amadoda amakhulu abawababalanga.

17 Thina, amehlo ethu ayaphela, ekhangele uncedo olungamampunge; Ekuboniseleni kwethu sibonisela uhlanga olungayi kusisindisa.

18 Bazingela amanyathela ethu, ukuze singabi nakuhamba ezitratweni zethu; Kusondele ukuphela kwethu, izalisekile imihla yethu; ewe, kufikile ukuphela kwethu.

19 Abasisukelayo banamendu ngaphezu kwamaxhalanga asezulwini; Basisukela ezintabeni ngokushushu, basilalela entlango.

20 Umoya wamathatha ethu, umthanjiswa kaYehova, ubanjisiwe emihadini yabo: Lowo besisithi, Siya kuhlala phantsi komthunzi wakhe ezintlangeni.

21 Yiba nemihlali uvuye kambe, ntombi yakwaEdom, ihleliyo ezweni lakwaUtse; Iya kudlulela nakuwe indebe; uya kunxila, uzihlube.

22 Bugqityiwe ubugwenxa bakho, ntombi inguZiyon; Akayi kuphinda akufuduse; Uya kubuvelela ubugwenxa bakho, ntombi yakwaEdom. Uya kuzityhila izono zakho.
