Wabona uYosefu ukuba uyise usibeke isandla sakhe sokunene entloko kuEfrayim, kwakubi emehlweni akhe; wasibamba isandla sikayise wasishenxisa entlokweni kaEfrayim, esisa entlokweni kaManase.

Wathi uYosefu kuyise, Makungabi njalo, bawo, kuba ngulo owamazibulo; beka esokunene entlokweni yakhe.

Akavuma uyise, wathi, Ndiyazi, nyana wam, ndiyazi; naye uya kuba sisizwe, naye uya kuba mkhulu; kodwa umninawa wakhe uya kuba mkhulu kuye, nembewu yakhe ibe ziintlanga ezininzi.

Wabasikelela ngaloo mini, esithi, Ngawe uya kusikelela uSirayeli, esithi, Ngamana uThixo wakwenza njengoEfrayim nanjengoManase. Wambeka ke uEfrayim phambi koManase.

USirayeli wathi kuYosefu, Yabona, ndiza kufa; uThixo uya kuba nani, anibuyisele ezweni looyihlo.

Mna ndikunike isiqwenga somhlaba ngaphezu kwabazalwana bakho, eso ndasithimbayo esandleni sama-Amori, ngekrele lam nangesaphetha sam.
