Uze ke ububhekise ubuso bakho elungqingweni lweYerusalem, ingalo yakho ihlutyiwe, uprofetele kuyo.

Yabona, ndikufaka izintya, ukuze ungaguqukeli kwelinye icala, ude uzigqibe iintsuku zokungqinga kwakho.

Wena ke, thabatha ingqolowa, nerhasi, neembotyi, neentlumayo, namazimba, nespelete, uzigalele ezo zinto sityeni sinye, uzenzele wena isonka; ngokwenani leentsuku olala ngecala lakho, uya kusidla iintsuku ezimakhulu mathathu anamanci asithoba.

Ukudla kwakho oya kukudla koba ngokomlinganiselo, iishekele ezimashumi mabini ngosuku; uya kusidla amaxesha ngamaxesha.

Uya kusidla ngokwesonka esiliqebengwana serhasi, usoje emehlweni abo ngeengqatha eziphuma emntwini.

Wathi uYehova, Oonyana bakaSirayeli baya kwenjenjalo ukusidla siyinqambi ezintlangeni, endiya kubagxothela kuzo.

Ndathi, Awu! Nkosi Yehova! Yabona, umphefumlo wam awuzanga wenziwe inqambi; into ezifeleyo neqwengiweyo andizanga ndiyidle, kwasebuncinaneni bam unanamhla; akufikanga nyama iyimbozisa emlonyeni wam.

Wathi kum, Uyabona, ndikunika amalongo enkomo esikhundleni seengqatha zomntu; soje kuwo isonka sakho.
