Wabona uYehova, ukuba utyekile esiza kubona; uThixo wabiza esetyholweni phakathi, wathi kuye, Moses, Moses. Wathi yena, Ndilapha.

Wathi, Musa ukusondela apha. Khulula iimbadada zakho ezo ezinyaweni zakho, kuba loo ndawo umi kuyo ingumhlaba ongcwele.

Wathi, NdinguThixo kayihlo, uThixo ka-Abraham, uThixo kaIsake, uThixo kaYakobi. Wabusithelisa uMoses ubuso bakhe, kuba ebesoyika ukukhangela kuThixo.

Wathi uYehova, Ndizibonile okunene iintsizi zabantu bam abaseYiputa, nokukhala kwabo ndikuvile, ngenxa yabo babaqhuba kalukhuni; kuba ndiyawazi umvandedwa wabo.

Ndihlile ke; ndize kubahlangula esandleni samaYiputa, ndibanyuse baphume kwelo lizwe, baye ezweni elilungileyo, elibanzi, ezweni elibaleka amasi nobusi, endaweni yamaKanan, namaHiti, nama-Amori, namaPerizi, namaHivi, namaYebhusi.

Ngoku ke naku ukukhala koonyana bakaSirayeli, kufikile kum; kananjalo ndikubonile ukuxina abaxine ngako amaYiputa.

Hamba ngoku, ndikuthume kuFaro, ubakhuphe eYiputa abantu bam, oonyana bakaSirayeli.

Wathi uMoses kuThixo, Ndingubani na ukuba ndingade ndiye kuFaro, ukuba ndibakhuphe eYiputa oonyana bakaSirayeli?

Wathi, Ndiya kuba nawe. Nangu umqondiso wokuba ndikuthumile mna: ekubakhupheni kwakho abantu eYiputa, niya kumkhonza uThixo kule ntaba.

Wathi uMoses kuThixo, Uyabona, ukuba ndiya koonyana bakaSirayeli, ndithi kubo, UThixo wooyihlo undithumile kuni, baze bathi kum, Ngubani na igama lakhe? ndothini na kubo?

Wathi uThixo kuMoses, Ndinguye eNdinguye. Wathi, Wotsho koonyana bakaSirayeli ukuthi, uNdinguye undithumile kuni.

Waphinda wathi uThixo kuMoses, Wothi koonyana bakaSirayeli, UYehova, uThixo wooyihlo, uThixo ka-Abraham, uThixo kaIsake, uThixo kaYakobi, undithumile kuni: ligama lam elo ngonaphakade, sisikhumbuzo sam eso kwizizukulwana ngezizukulwana.

Yiya uhlanganise amadoda amakhulu akwaSirayeli, uthi kuwo, UYehova, uThixo wooyihlo, uThixo ka-Abraham, kaIsake kaYakobi, ubonakele kum, wathi, Ndinivelele nina, naloo nto niyenziweyo eYiputa.

Ndathi, Ndiya kuninyusa niphume ezintsizini zaseYiputa, niye ezweni lamaKanan, namaHiti, nama-Amori, namaPerizi, namaHivi, namaYebhusi, ezweni elibaleka amasi nobusi.

Boliphulaphula ilizwi lakho; uze uye ke wena namadoda amakhulu akwaSirayeli kukumkani waseYiputa, nithi kuye, UYehova uThixo wamaHebhere uhlangene nathi; ngoku makhe sihambe entlango uhambo lweentsuku ezintathu, sibingelele kuYehova uThixo wethu.

Ke mna ndiyazi, ukuba ukumkani waseYiputa akayi kunivumela ukuba nihambe, nokuba sekungesandla esithe nkqi.

Ndiya kusolula isandla sam, ndiyibethe iYiputa ngemisebenzi yam yonke ebalulekileyo, endiya kuyenza phakathi kwayo, andule ke ukunindulula.

Aba bantu ndiya kubababala phambi kwamaYiputa; kuthi, xa nithe nemka, ningemki nize.

Intokazi iya kucela kwengummelwane wayo, nakwengumphambukeli endlwini yayo, impahla yesilivere, nempahla yegolide, neengubo, nizinxibe oonyana benu neentombi zenu, niwaphange amaYiputa.
