Kwathi, xa aziphakamisileyo uMoses izandla, kweyisa uSirayeli; kwathi xa azihlisileyo izandla, kweyisa uAmaleki.

Izandla zikaMoses zadinwa. Bathabatha ilitye, balibeka phantsi kwakhe, wahlala kulo; bathi ooAron noHure bazixhasa izandla zakhe, omnye engapha, nomnye engaphaya. Zazimaseka izandla zakhe, lada ilanga latshona.

UYoshuwa wamchitha uAmaleki nabantu bakowabo ngohlangothi lwekrele.

Wathi uYehova kuMoses, Kubhale oku kube sisikhumbuzo encwadini, ukuthethe ezindlebeni zikaYoshuwa; ngokuba ndiya kusicima impela isikhumbuzo sika-Amaleki phantsi kwamazulu.

UMoses wakha isibingelelo, wathi igama laso nguYehova-ibhanile-yam.
