3 Inene, uyazithanda izizwe. Bonke abangcwele bakhe basesandleni sakho, Bahlala ezinyaweni zakho, Besuke ngamazwi akho.

4 UMoses wasiwisela umyalelo, Ilifa ke elo lebandla lakwaYakobi.

5 Waba ngukumkani kwaYeshurun, Ekuzihlanganiseni iintloko zabantu, Izizwe zakwaSirayeli zindawonye.

6 URubhen makadle ubomi, angafi; Angabi mbalwa amadoda akhe.

7 Le yintsikelelo kaYuda, wathi, Yiva, Yehova, izwi likaYuda, Umngenise kubantu bakowabo; Uyabalwela ngezandla zakhe; Umnceda wena kubabandezeli bakhe.

8 Wathi ngoLevi, IiTumim zakho neeUrim zakho zezomntu wakho wenceba, Owamlingayo eMasa, Wabambana naye emanzini aseMeribha.

9 Lowo uthi kuyise nakunina, Andikuboni; Akatheni nabazalwana bakhe, Akabazi noonyana bakhe; Ngokuba egcine intetho yakho, Wabamba umnqophiso wakho.

10 Baya kumyala uYakobi ngamasiko akho, Bamyale uSirayeli ngomyalelo wakho, Babeke isiqhumiso ezimpumlweni zakho, Namadini apheleleyo esibingelelweni sakho.

11 Sikelela, Yehova, amandla akhe, Ukholeke kuwe umsebenzi wezandla zakhe. Baphaluswe emanqeni abavukelana naye, Nabamthiyileyo bangabi nakuvuka.

12 NgoBhenjamin wathi, Intanda kaYehova iya kuhlala kuye ikholosile; Uyikhusele imini yonke, Ihlala phakathi kwamagxa akhe.

13 NgoYosefu wathi. Malisikelelwe nguYehova ilizwe lakhe Ngezinto ezinconywayo zezulu; Ngombethe nangamanzi enzonzobila elele ezantsi.

14 Nangezinconywayo eziveliswa lilanga, Nangezinconywayo ezihlunyiswa ziinyanga,

15 Nangeencopho zeentaba zamandulo, Nangezinconywayo zeenduli ezingunaphakade,

16 Nangezinconywayo zomhlaba nenzaliseko yawo. Nekholo lowahlala etyholweni Malifike entlokweni kaYosefu, Naselukakayini lwalowo ubalulekileyo kubazalwana bakhe.

17 Eyamazibulo inkunzi yakhe, hayi, ubungangamsha bayo! Ziimpondo zenqu iimpondo zayo; Ngazo ihlaba izizwe, ngaxa-nye iziphelo zehlabathi. Ngamawaka alishumi akwaEfrayim ke lawo. Ngamawaka akwaManase ke lawo.

18 NgoZebhulon wathi, Vuya, Zebhulon, ngokuphuma kwakho; Vuya, Isakare, ngeentente zakho.

19 Baya kumema izizwe, zize entabeni, Babingelele khona imibingelelo yobulungisa; Ngokuba besanya ubutyebi beelwandle Nezinto eziselelwe entlabathini.

20 NgoGadi wathi, Makabongwe owandisa uGadi. Ubuthuma njengengonyamakazi, Adlavule umkhono, ewe, nokakayi.

21 Wazibonela isahlulo esiyingqalo; Ngokuba besibekwe khona isabelo sommisi-mthetho. Weza kwiintloko zabantu, Wenza ubulungisa bukaYehova, Namasiko akhe ndawonye namaSirayeli.

22 Wathi ngoDan, UDan lithole lengonyama; Usuka umtsi eBhashan.

23 NgoNafetali wathi, Nafetali, ukholisiweyo kanye, Uzeleyo yintsikelelo kaYehova, Woluhlutha ulwandle nomzantsi.

24 NgoAshere wathi, Usikelelwe ngaphezu koonyana uAshere; Makabe likholo phakathi kwabazalwana bakhe, Athi nkxu unyawo lwakhe eolini.

25 Imivalo yakho yoba sisinyithi nobhedu, Kube ngangeemini zakho ukonwaba kwakho.

26 Akukho unjengoThixo, Yeshurun, Ulokhwela emazulwini eluncedo lwakho, Ulokhwela esibhakabhakeni enobungangamsha bakhe.

27 Likhaya uThixo wamandulo, Ngaphantsi ziingalo ezingunaphakade. Ugxotha utshaba ebusweni bakho; Uthi, Tshabalalisa!

28 USirayeli uhlala ekholosile, Uwodwa umthombo kaYakobi, Usinga ezweni lengqolowa newayini entsha; Inene izulu lalo liqhoqhoza umbethe.

29 Unoyolo, Sirayeli! Ngubani na onjengawe, bantu basindiswe nguYehova, Ikhaka loncedo lwakho, Ikrele lobungangamsha bakho. Ziya kuhanahanisa kuwe iintshaba zakho, Unyathele ke wena emimangweni yazo.

Explanation of Deuteronomy 33

Verse 1. The state of the soul when it ceases to be led by Divine truth.

Verses 2-5. The Lord by obedience to the Divine law raised His Humanity even to the Divinity, whence is all the Divine life of the regenerate.

Verse 6. The understanding of the Word illuminated from heaven is the life of the soul.

Verse 7. Of good thence derived in the natural principle.

Verses 8-11. Concerning the genuine love of good or charity.

Verse 12. Of truth thus brought down into the life.

Verses 13-17. Of the internal good thus acquired in the rational mind.

Verses 18-19. Of the marriage between good and truth in the said.

Verses 20-21. Of a good life thence derived, and (verse 22) the consequent confirmation of truth in the soul, and (verse 23) victory in temptations, and (verses 24-25) happiness even to external and worldly things.

Verses 26-29. There is no help like the Lord, and none are so blessed as those who suffer themselves to be regenerated by Him.
