10 So they came and called to the porter of the city; and they told them, saying, "We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but the horses tied, and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were."

Verse 10. And this is done through the general doctrine of the church as to good, communication being opened by truths shewing that the organized opposition of the natural man to the spiritual man is suspended as to evil, as to falsity, and as to natural reason, and thus as to the whole life of the natural man.
