14 So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

Verse 14. Wherefore falsity is separated from the Divine Word, and is associated with its own evil, which, as yet, clings to the hope of merely external happiness in heaven. And in this the corrupted natural man is, as yet, supported by his false doctrine.
