14 Ê-li-sê đau bịnh, tại bịnh ấy người phải chết. Giô-ách, vua Y-sơ-ra-ên, đến thăm người, khóc trước mặt người, mà nói rằng: Hỡi cha tôi! cha tôi! Xe và lính kỵ của Y-sơ-ra-ên!

Verse 14. But, in this state of the spiritual church, faith in the Divine Word is waning, and the leaders therein are consequently reduced to distress on account of lost truth and good, acknowledging that the Word is the source of all doctrine and all spiritual intelligence.
