21 แต่เมื่อฮาดัดอยู่ในอียิปต์ได้ยินว่าดาวิดได้ล่วงลับไปอยู่กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์แล้ว และโยอาบผู้บัญชาการกองทัพก็สิ้นชีวิตแล้ว ฮาดัดจึงทูลฟาโรห์ว่า "ขอข้าพระองค์ทูลลาเพื่อข้าพระองค์จะกลับไปยังประเทศของข้าพระองค์เอง"

Verse 21. And hence the corrupted natural will, becoming fully conscious that the spiritual and rational powers cease to prevail against it, is desirous to be separated even from apparent natural good and truth, and to be let into the enjoyment of its own life.
