1 At bumangong maaga si Josue sa kinaumagahan; at sila'y umalis sa Sittim at napasa Jordan, siya at ang lahat na mga anak ni Israel; at sila'y tumigil doon bago sila tumawid.

2 At nangyari pagkatapos ng tatlong araw, na ang mga pinuno ay napasa gitna ng kampamento;

3 At sila'y nagutos sa bayan, na sinasabi, Pagka inyong nakita ang kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon ninyong Dios, at dinadala ng mga saserdote na Levita, ay kikilos nga kayo sa inyong dako at susunod doon.

4 Gayon ma'y magkakapagitan sa inyo at sa kaban ng may dalawang libong siko ang sukat: huwag ninyong lapitan, upang alamin ang daan na inyong marapat paroonan; sapagka't hindi pa ninyo nararaanan ang daang ito ng una.

5 At sinabi ni Josue sa bayan, Magpakabanal kayo; sapagka't bukas ay gagawa ng mga kababalaghan ang Panginoon sa inyo.

6 At nagsalita si Josue sa mga saserdote, na sinasabi, Buhatin ninyo ang kaban ng tipan at magpauna kayo sa bayan. At kanilang binuhat ang kaban ng tipan, at nagpauna sa bayan.

7 At sinabi ng Panginoon kay Josue, Sa araw na ito ay pasisimulan kong padakilain ka sa paningin ng buong Israel, upang kanilang makilala, na kung paanong ako'y suma kay Moises ay gayon ako sasaiyo.

8 At iyong uutusan ang mga saserdote na nagdadala ng kaban ng tipan, na iyong sasabihin, Pagka kayo'y dumating sa tabi ng tubig ng Jordan, ay tumigil kayo sa Jordan.

9 At sinabi ni Josue sa mga anak ni Israel, Magsilapit kayo at dinggin ninyo ang mga salita ng Panginoon ninyong Dios.

10 At sinabi ni Josue, Sa ganito ay inyong makikilala na ang buhay na Dios ay nasa gitna ninyo, at walang pagsalang kaniyang itataboy sa harap ninyo ang Cananeo, at ang Hetheo, at ang Heveo, at ang Pherezeo, at ang Gergeseo, at ang Amorrheo, at ang Jebuseo.

11 Narito, ang kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon ng buong lupa ay nagpapauna sa inyo sa Jordan.

12 Ngayon nga ay kumuha kayo ng labing dalawang lalake sa mga lipi ni Israel, na isang lalake sa bawa't lipi.

13 At mangyayari, na pagka ang mga talampakan ng mga paa ng mga saserdote na nagdadala ng kaban ng Panginoon, ng Panginoon ng buong lupa, ay titigil sa tubig ng Jordan, na ang tubig ng Jordan ay mahahawi, sa makatuwid baga'y ang tubig na bumababang mula sa itaas; at magiisang bunton.

14 At nangyari nang umalis ang bayan sa kanilang mga tolda, upang tumawid sa Jordan, ay nasa unahan ng bayan ang mga saserdote na nagdadala ng kaban ng tipan;

15 At nang dumating sa Jordan ang mga may dala ng kaban, at ang mga paa ng mga saserdote na nagdadala ng kaban ay nabasa sa gilid ng tubig, (sapagka't inaapawan ng Jordan ang lahat niyang pangpang sa buong panahon ng pagaani,)

16 Na ang tubig na bumababang mula sa itaas ay tumigil, at nagisang bunton na malayo sa kanila, sa Adam, na bayang nasa tabi ng Sarethan: at yaong nagsisibaba sa dagat ng Araba, na dagat na Alat ay lubos na nahawi: at ang bayan ay tumawid sa tapat ng Jerico.

17 At ang mga saserdote na nagdadala ng kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon ay tumayong panatag sa tuyong lupa sa gitna ng Jordan; at ang buong Israel ay dumaan sa tuyong lupa, hanggang sa nakatawid na lubos sa Jordan ang buong bansa.

Joshua Chapter 3: Izraelité překračují řeku Jordán

V této kapitole jdou Izraelci přes zátoku Jordán zázrakem. Vody řeky se drží zpět, aby vytvořily suchou půdu, po které se dá chodit. K tomuto zázraku dochází ve Starém zákoně mnohokrát, počínaje křížením Rudého moře v Exodu. A jak uvidíme, znamená to také pro nás.

Všichni Izraelci se stěhují na okraj řeky Jordán a tábor (viz Nebeská tajemství 6537). Potom je vydáno několik příkazů: pohybovat se pouze tehdy, když vidí, jak se kněží nesoucí archu pohybují první; držet se daleko od archy; zasvětit se; vybrat dvanáct mužů, jednoho z každého kmene. Kněžím se říká, že mají nést truhlu před lidmi a vstoupit do vod řeky.

Tyto podrobné pokyny jsou pro nás důležité v procesu regenerace. Na konci verše Jozue 3:4  to říká něco velmi říkajícího, že „jste takhle neprošli dříve.“ Po pravdě řečeno, ne; práce regenerace je pro nás nová a vezme nás do věcí, které jsme dosud nezažili. Když vidíme, jak se archa blíží, ukazuje naše vlastní potřeba zachovat Pánovy příkazy a pravdy v našich vizích a cílech.

Dostat se daleko od archy je také důležité, protože nesmíme kombinovat náš pohled na to, co děláme, s Pánovým pohledem na to, co musíme udělat - archa obsahuje deset přikázání a musí být vždy viděna (Nebeská tajemství 6724).

Text říká: „Nepřibližujte se k němu, abyste možná věděli, jak musíte jít.“ (Jozue 3:4Lidé jsou také řečeni, aby se zasvětili, aby se stali svatými. To by zahrnovalo mytí, což znamená očištění naší mysli a jednání všeho, co jde proti Bohu.

Posledním příkazem, kterému jsou lidé dány, je vybrat dvanáct mužů, jednoho z každého kmene. To bude důležité v následující kapitole, když z řeky Jordán vyjme dvanáct pamětních kamenů.

Kněží nesoucí archu jsou řečeni, aby vstoupili a namočili se. Pro nás to znamená, že naše odhodlání Bohu a naše nejvyšší úmysly („kněz“ v nás) musí přijít do styku s tekoucí vodou řeky Jordán (první duchovní pravdy, nejprve proto, že Jordán je hranice).

Když to kněží dělají, vody se okamžitě zastaví daleko proti proudu, takže všichni mohou bezpečně překročit, zatímco kněží stojí (viz viz Nebeská tajemství 1664[7]). Když se naše odhodlání Bohu spojí s Božími pravdami pro náš život a staneme se sjednocenými, máme nebeský ideál a nyní půjdeme kupředu. (Nauka o životě pro Nový Jeruzalém 55[3]).

Ve verších 9 až 13 Joshua lidem připomíná, co právě dělají. Přecházejí do Kanaánu: „a živý Bůh je mezi vámi a on bezpochyby vytlačí Kanaany, Hetejce, Hivity, Perizzity, Girgashity, Amority a Jebuzity“, kteří pro nás stojí za křivdy, slabosti, bludy , triky a podvody naší lidské povahy, jako je tomu před tím, než patříme k Bohu. "Hle, truhla smlouvy Pána celé země přechází před vámi do Jordánu."

Tato kapitola je naší první akcí a odhodláním na začátku naší regenerace nebo nového zrození. Zavezou nás odtud sem, nikdy se nevrátíme. Je to přechod z jedné strany našeho života na druhou (Nebeská tajemství 7779[3]). A celý Izrael přešel na suché zemi. Každý z nás je „celý Izrael“, protože nás má mnoho částí; milujeme, myslíme, věříme, ceníme, jednáme, děláme užitečné věci, sdílíme, pracujeme a hrajeme, a to vše a mnoho dalších bude součástí našeho duchovního života, který leží před námi.
