Verse 30. And yet, it is according to Divine Providence, that the church in its imperfection may be instrumental in promoting Divine Truth and Divine Good by the repression of self-love and its falsities, and that when this happens the continuance of such a state of the church is permitted until the fulness of time, when a new state is possible.
