22 Господь, Богъ твой, мало-по-малу будеть изгонять отъ тебя народы сіи; не можешь ты истребить ихъ скоро, чтобы не умножились во вредъ тебј полевые звјри.

Verse 22. And the Divine Love and Wisdom will drive out the hereditary evils of the unregenerate heart by degrees; they cannot be driven out at once, for thereby the lower evil lusts would multiply upon the soul.
