6 രെഹബെയാം രാജാവു തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ശലോമോന്റെ ജീവകാലത്തു അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ നിന്നിരുന്ന വൃദ്ധന്മാരോടു ആലോചിച്ചുഈ ജനത്തോടു ഉത്തരം പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്താലോചന പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
