8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.

Verse 8. But, in the course of regeneration, the Word is also communicated to the external or natural man as well as the internal or spiritual, because there also is the affection of truth, and the appropriation of good by truth with determination, so that this appropriation is constant.
