36 Take thou no◦ usury from him, or◦ interest; but fear thy God; and thy brother may live with thee.

Verse 36. Nor is good to be done to another for the sake of reward, or from worldly and selfish motives; but the external man is to be aided from a sense of holy fear grounded in love and truth, in order that harmony may be maintained.
