BaMidbar 19:14

Verse 14. This is the law for purification from falsity grounded in evil: every one affected with it, although the evil of that falsity be not his own, is yet impure and must be purified according to the order of regeneration; and every one to whom that evil appertains is impure, and must be purified according to the order of regeneration.
