41 Και θελεις λαβει τους Λευιτας δια εμε, εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος αντι παντων των πρωτοτοκων των υιων Ισραηλ· και τα κτηνη των Λευιτων αντι παντων των πρωτοτοκων των κτηνων των υιων Ισραηλ.

Verse 41. And at. the same time with the acknowledgement that all charity or love which is the essence of faith, is entirely from the Lord, Who alone is life itself; and that, therefore, charity is really the firstborn, spiritually, and this not only as to interiors, but also as to exteriors, with the man of the church.
