Verse 19. And the apparent truths (now proved to be falsities, which were against the good affection), must be taken from it, and those acceded to which are in conformity with the principles of good and truth from which the affection originated, because the understanding had suggested to the mind that a holy spiritual affection was evil; and the understanding must become conjoined to that affection, and may not remove from it through all the states of the regenerate life.
