2 ας υπαγωμεν, παρακαλουμεν, εως του Ιορδανου, και εκειθεν ας λαβωμεν εκαστος μιαν δοκον, και ας καμωμεν εις εαυτους εκει τοπον, δια να κατοικωμεν εκει. Ο δε ειπεν, Υπαγετε.

Verse 2. Wherefore they desire to betake themselves to externals, and there to be in obscure good, and thus in what is congenial in which they may have freedom of life. And this is permitted.
