7 ιδου, εγω θελω βαλει εις αυτον τοιουτον πνευμα, ωστε, ακουσας θορυβον, θελει επιστρεψει εις την γην αυτου· και θελω καμει αυτον να πεση δια μαχαιρας εν τη γη αυτου.

Verse 7. Because persons, or spirits, in such a state, intensely fear the influx of good from the Lord, and are repelled by the force of interior truths; besides which they are drawn back into their own depraved affections, and are then completely vastated as to all truths.
