1 Ja Issand rääkis Moosese ja Aaroniga, öeldes:

2 'Iisraeli lapsed löögu leer üles, igaüks oma lipu juurde, oma perekonna märgi juurde! Nad löögu leer üles ümber kogudusetelgi, sellega kohakuti:

3 esikülge, ida poole, löögu leer üles Juuda leeri lipkond oma väehulkade kaupa, Juuda poegade vürst Nahson, Amminadabi poeg,

4 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid seitsekümmend neli tuhat kuussada.

7 Siis on Sebuloni suguharu, Sebuloni poegade vürst Eliab, Heeloni poeg,

8 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid viiskümmend seitse tuhat nelisada.

9 Juuda leeris on kõiki loetuid väehulkade kaupa sada kaheksakümmend kuus tuhat nelisada. Nemad lähevad teele esimestena.

10 Ruubeni leeri lipkond oma väehulkade kaupa olgu lõuna pool, Ruubeni poegade vürst Elisuur, Sedeuuri poeg,

11 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid nelikümmend kuus tuhat viissada.

12 Tema kõrvale löögu leer üles Siimeoni suguharu, Siimeoni poegade vürst Selumiel, Suurisaddai poeg,

13 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid viiskümmend üheksa tuhat kolmsada.

14 Siis on Gaadi suguharu, Gaadi poegade vürst Eljasaf, Deueli poeg,

15 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid nelikümmend viis tuhat kuussada viiskümmend.

16 Ruubeni leeris on kõiki loetuid väehulkade kaupa sada viiskümmend üks tuhat nelisada viiskümmend. Nemad lähevad teele järgmistena.

17 Seejärel mingu teele kogudusetelk koos leviitide leeriga teiste leeride keskel! Nõnda nagu nad olid leeri üles löönud, nõnda nad mingu ka teele, igaüks oma kohal, oma lipkondade kaupa!

18 Lääne pool olgu Efraimi leeri lipkond oma väehulkade kaupa, Efraimi poegade vürst Elisama, Ammihudi poeg,

19 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid nelikümmend tuhat viissada.

20 Tema kõrval olgu Manasse suguharu, Manasse poegade vürst Gamliel, Pedasuuri poeg,

21 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid kolmkümmend kaks tuhat kakssada.

22 Siis on Benjamini suguharu, Benjamini poegade vürst Abidan, Gideoni poeg,

23 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid kolmkümmend viis tuhat nelisada.

24 Efraimi leeris on kõiki loetuid väehulkade kaupa sada kaheksa tuhat ükssada. Nemad lähevad teele kolmandatena.

25 Põhja pool olgu Daani leeri lipkond oma väehulkade kaupa, Daani poegade vürst Ahieser, Ammisaddai poeg,

26 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid kuuskümmend kaks tuhat seitsesada.

27 Tema kõrvale löögu oma leer üles Aaseri suguharu, Aaseri poegade vürst Pagiel, Okrani poeg,

28 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid nelikümmend üks tuhat viissada.

29 Siis on Naftali suguharu, Naftali poegade vürst Ahira, Eenani poeg,

30 ja tema väehulk, milles on loetuid viiskümmend kolm tuhat nelisada.

31 Daani leeris on kõiki loetuid sada viiskümmend seitse tuhat kuussada. Nemad oma lipkondade kaupa lähevad teele viimastena.'

32 Need olid oma perekondade kaupa loetud Iisraeli lapsed; kõiki leerides väehulkade kaupa loetuid oli kuussada kolm tuhat viissada viiskümmend.

33 Leviite aga ei loetud Iisraeli laste hulka, nõnda nagu Issand oli Moosest keelanud.

34 Ja Iisraeli lapsed tegid kõik nõnda, nagu Issand oli Moosest käskinud: nõnda nad lõid leeri üles oma lipkondade kaupa ja nõnda nad läksid teele, igaüks koos oma suguvõsaga perekondade kaupa.

Verses 1-2. Revelation is made that each individual of the Spiritual Church has his specific position in his own heaven according to the general principles thereof.

Verse 3. There are four general principles, namely, celestial love, in Verse 3; faith from charity, Verse 10; the same in the natural degree, Verse 18; and the affirmation of truth in the natural degree, Verse 25.

Verses 3, 10, 18, 25. Their principles of action are as follows: Truth immediately proceeding from good; faith from charity which is the foundation of the church; obedience to truth from the love of good; and truth which aids, derived from Divine Truth which protects man in temptations.

Verse 17. All changes of state with the angels and with the man of the church are effected from the central principle of love.

Verses 4-32. The general quality, according to ordination and arrangement by the Lord, of those in the four leading divisions is described, as well as the quality of each division subordinate to these, and the quality of the whole heaven or of the whole church taken together.

Verse 33. But good itself, apart from truth, cannot be known as to its quality.

Verse 34. And thus the angels are always obedient to Divine Truth, or to the laws of Divine Order; and they become more and more perfected according to the ordination and arrangement of truths as depending on the state of good.
