44 CXar Mi, la Eternulo, estas via Dio; tial sanktigu vin kaj estu sanktaj, cxar Mi estas sankta; kaj ne malpurigu viajn animojn per ia rampajxo, kiu rampas sur la tero.

Verse 44. For the Lord is good itself and truth itself united; and therefore man should be holy by the conjunction of these in himself, since the Lord is holiness itself by that union; neither should the spiritual man defile himself with any sensual affection separated from the higher life.
