18 Toen zeide hij: Ik heb Israel niet beroerd, maar gij en uws vaders huis, daarmede, dat gijlieden de geboden des HEEREN verlaten hebt en de Baals nagevolgd zijt.

Verse 18. While yet Divine Truth united with Divine Good in the Word, cannot cause dissension in the church; but the evils of self-love, both actual and hereditary; as well as the false principles derived from those evils.
