17 The garment or skin that he weareth, he shall wash with water, and it shall be unclean until the evening.

Verse 17. And every state of truth with man, whether external or internal, wherein the affection of conjoining truth with its own good is perverted, must be purified, but is not completely so until the state of truth leading to good is at its end.
