21 And if the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name should be there, be far off, thou shalt kill of thy herds and of thy docks, as I have commanded thee, and shalt eat in thy towns, as it pleaseth thee.

Verse 21. If the holy state in which the Divine Love and Wisdom are manifestly perceived to flow into the soul from the Divine Humanity alone, be far removed from the state of the soul, then you may prepare from the goods and truths of the natural mind which the Lord has given you such things as are in accordance with your perception of His will, and sustain the external life of the soul with such things as are suitable to its state in the natural mind.
