And JehovahJehovah spokespoke to MosesMoses, saying,
On the day ofday of the firstthe first monthmonth, on the firstthe first of the monthmonth, shalt thou set up the tabernacletabernacle of the tenttent of meeting.
And thou shalt putput in it the arkark of the testimony, and shalt cover the arkark with the veil.
And thou shalt bringbring in the tabletable, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it. And thou shalt bringbring in the candlestickcandlestick and lightlight its lampslamps.
And thou shalt set the golden altargolden altar for the incenseincense beforebefore the arkark of the testimony; and hang up the curtain of the entranceentrance to the tabernacle.
And thou shalt set the altaraltar of burnt-offering beforebefore the entranceentrance of the tabernacletabernacle of the tenttent of meeting.
And thou shalt set the laver between the tenttent of meeting and the altaraltar, and shalt putput waterwater in it.
And thou shalt fix the courtcourt round aboutround about, and hang up the curtain at the gategate of the courtcourt.
And thou shalt take the anointing oiloil, and anointanoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallowhallow it, and all its utensilsutensils; and it shall be holyholy.
And thou shalt anointanoint the altaraltar of burnt-offering, and all its utensilsutensils; and thou shalt hallowhallow the altaraltar, and the altaraltar shall be most holyholy.
And thou shalt anointanoint the laver and its stand, and hallowhallow it.
And thou shalt bring AaronAaron and his sons nearnear, at the entranceentrance of the tenttent of meeting, and bathebathe them with waterwater.
And thou shalt clothe AaronAaron with the holyholy garmentsgarments, and anointanoint him, and hallowhallow him, that he may serve me as priest.
And thou shalt bring his sons nearnear, and clothe them with vestsvests.
And thou shalt anointanoint them, as thou didst anointanoint their fatherfather, that they may serve me as priestspriests. And their anointing shall be to them an everlastingeverlasting priesthoodpriesthood throughout their generationsgenerations.
And MosesMoses did so: as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded him, so did he.
And it came to pass in the firstthe first monthmonth in the second year, on the firstthe first of the monthmonth, that the tabernacle was set up.
And MosesMoses set up the tabernacle, and putput in its bases, and fixed its boardsboards, and putput in its barsbars, and set up its pillarspillars.
And he spread the tenttent over the tabernacletabernacle, and putput the coveringcovering of the tenttent above over it; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he took and putput the testimony into the arkark, and putput the staves in the arkark, and putput the mercy-seatmercy-seat above on the arkark.
And he brought the arkark into the tabernacle, and hung up the veil of separation, and covered the arkark of the testimony; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he putput the tabletable in the tenttent of meeting, on the sideside of the tabernacletabernacle northwardnorthward, outside the veil,
and arranged the breadbread in orderorder upon it beforebefore JehovahJehovah; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he putput the candlestickcandlestick in the tenttent of meeting, opposite to the tabletable, on the sideside of the tabernacletabernacle southwardsouthward.
And he lighted the lampslamps beforebefore JehovahJehovah; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he putput the golden altargolden altar in the tenttent of meeting beforebefore the veil.
And he burnt on it fragrantfragrant incenseincense; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he hung up the curtain of the entranceentrance to the tabernacle.
And he putput the altaraltar of burnt-offeringoffering at the entranceentrance to the tabernacletabernacle of the tenttent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt-offeringoffering and the oblation; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he set the laver between the tenttent of meeting and the altaraltar, and putput waterwater in it for washingwashing.
And MosesMoses and AaronAaron and his sons washedwashed their handshands and their feetfeet out of it:
when they went into the tenttent of meeting, and when they drewdrew nearnear to the altaraltar, they washedwashed; as JehovahJehovah had commandedcommanded MosesMoses.
And he set up the courtcourt round aboutround about the tabernacle and the altaraltar, and hung up the curtain of the gategate of the courtcourt. And so MosesMoses finished the workwork.
And the cloudcloud coveredcovered the tenttent of meeting, and the glory of JehovahJehovah filledfilled the tabernacletabernacle.
And MosesMoses could not enterenter into the tenttent of meeting, for the cloudcloud abode on it, and the glory of JehovahJehovah filledfilled the tabernacletabernacle.
And when the cloudcloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the childrenchildren of IsraelIsrael journeyedjourneyed in all their journeysjourneys.
And if the cloudcloud were not taken up, then they did not journeyjourney until the dayday that it was taken up.
For the cloudcloud of JehovahJehovah was on the tabernacle by day, and firefire was in it by nightnight, before the eyeseyes of all the househouse of IsraelIsrael, throughout all their journeys.
