16 This day Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and ordinances; and thou shalt keep and do them with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Verse 16. In this state it is doubly essential to conform the life to the laws of heaven proceeding from the Divine Love and Wisdom both as to external and internal things; and it is necessary that they should permeate and influence the whole will and understanding.
