16 And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but truth in the name of Jehovah?

Verse 16. But the man of the corrupted church has no faith in the dictate of genuine truth, because he is made to perceive, that it is opposed to his state, and, internally, differs from the dictate of his own falsified truths.
